My Background
A Bit of History
I have been intrigued by technology since my teenage years. In high-school I tinkered with gadgets, wrote simple computer games in Z80 assembly. I attended university in Hungary then in California to get an EE degree. In my career I have designed complex electronic hardware subsystems and have been the technical liaison supporting a high-volume chip business, working my way up to principal engineering positions.
Over the years I developed a passion for developing software to solve problems, and have taken Coursera and EdX classes to learn the basics of computer science and Python programming. I recently completed a full-stack web development bootcamp at PDX Code Guild and continue to work on personal projects, such as making responsive and interactive webpages, web applications.
What My Goals Are
I'm looking for a software development job that leverages my Python, Django, HTML, CSS, JavaScript skills, my understanding of modern programming paradigms such as object-oriented and functional programming, and best practices like TDD, DRY. I thrive on producing clean and maintainable code, collaborating on team work, and always looking for self-improvement opportunities.
